What to expect from us:

  • A very enjoyable workspot in the heart of Amsterdam, with movable desks, table tennis, pool table, photoplay and a lot of other creative organisations around you.
  • A young fast growing team around you with 9 developers, 5 support/content-managers, 3 online marketeers, 4 sales/business-developers and a user experience designer.
  • Great working conditions including free lunch, nice green tea, espresso, OV-bike and travel allowance.
  • Shares of Springest with a permanent contract.
  • Minimum budget of €1000.- to use for books, education and conferences (such as Link Love and Search Love in London).
  • An educational environment: aside of your colleagues, you’ll regularely work with external experts (such as Joost de Valk, Ulco Wierenga, Martijn Anschutz, Nina Baumann).

We’re looking for:

Someone who’s got potential and wants to learn more. Your future team can turn their hand to everything: open source webdevelopment, online marketing, customer support, account management, sales and product development. You’re helpful, positive and inspire your team members because we constantly focus on execution. Here is a list of some responsibilities you will be given when joining Springest:

  1. Set traffic and conversion targets with Peter for 2014, and adjust them to the international growth strategies.
  2. Search British blogs, magazines and jobboards, that might work with us as mediapartners. Work with their team on different types of implementations and monitor their results.
  3. Take care of a steady link growth with Yasmin for NL, Eva in Germany and some external freelancers for other countries. Learn to get to know Buzzstream, Raven, Ahrefs, Moz and other tools and use them to grow links in a scalable way.
  4. Compile a newsletter for the Springest UK providers with Greg (who’s responsible for sales in the UK) once a month. Experiment with different call-to-actions.
  5. Acquire new mediapartners such as Jobboards and news websites, as well as help to improve the development of new tools and implementations with your Demand product team.
  6. Explore traffic opportunities for Springest UK with Greg and Peter. Use the input of our clients to determine which subjects should get traffic.
  7. Determine our traffic opportunities with Alexander and Eva, and use the input of our clients to determine which kind of partner we need to extend our traffic.
  8. Look for channels (blogs, LinkedIn groups, niche magazines, HR communities .. ?) to become active with and attract new providers.
  9. Get inspired by Rand Fishkin’s (certainly not a saint, but if you don’t know him you can stop reading ;)) view on Springest at Search Love. What do we have to do with our product to maintain our rankings in the long term?
  10. Nest yourself in the Learning and Development sphere. As knowledge- and newsprovider, expand our knowledge and network, while taking advantage of it in your marketing and communication.
  11. Brief our external WordPress Developer Bas to further develop our WordPress Plugin. We want to give smaller education providers a tool to display their own courses. We already own a Drupal, is a Magento-plugin the next step?
  12. And the most important part: take the lead and improve our marketing on the basis of your ideas and data. Do it live, or get it done.
