Amsterdam – Springest hands a cheque worth €6,583 to the Edukans Foundation during the awards ceremony for the Best Education Provider in The Netherlands.
Springest, the comparison website for education and training, collects reviews from former students about the training or education they’ve received. For every submitted review, Springest donates €1 to The Edukans Foundation. In 2013, a total of 6583 reviews were submitted.
The Edukans Foundation is an organisation that fosters education in developing countries. Springest is part of the School-Sponsorship-Program developed by Edukans. The €6,583 donation supports the Ebule Primary School in Uganda.
The project has been made possible through a knowledge sharing scheme between Dutch and Ugandan teachers. The aim is to improve the quality of education, so that children in Uganda have access to a decent education and a promising future. The project primarily focuses on teaching as many children as possible how to read and write.
Springest’s long term dedication in promoting education both at home and abroad has been repeatedly manifested over the years. Overall, Springest has donated a total sum of € 20,000 to the Edukans Foundation.
